Press Release: Alex Wise appointed as COO

Wealth of Nations Impact Asset Management (WON-IAM) has appointed senior funds executive, Alex Wise as Chief Operating Officer as the firm builds out its impact investment portfolio business.

Alex joins from Castle Hall where he was a global leader in the firm’s ESG Diligence business alongside him overseeing the establishment of Castle Hall’s as a leading diligence consultant in the Australian market.

Alex has 20 years financial markets experience including significant multi-manager experience. Wise was previously COO of Select Asset Management and became head of OneVue’s investment management and responsible entity businesses following OneVue’s acquisition of Select. Alex started his career as a lawyer in London where he acted as General Counsel to Atlas Capital, a global multi-billion-dollar investment firm.

At WON-IAM, Alex will take a leading role in the launch of the firm’s inaugural multi-asset solution, Diversified Impact Fund (DIF) which is currently under establishment. DIF aims to have a material effect on important positive outcomes for underserved people and the planet through thematic impact investing. To achieve that objective WON-IAM will be seeking to raise $1bn for DIF in 2022 from institutional investors.
