This proposed portfolio accesses investments that can help to close the gender gap through targeted investments. Our portfolio construction guidelines utilised a leading gender-lens investment framework to screen for gender-lens funds that would become the portfolio.

INVESTOR PROFILE – INSURANCE COMPANY

The insurance company has an internal mandate to allocate a small percentage of their investment portfolio to impact over the next 5 years. After having reviewed their current impact portfolio for potential impact gaps, they identified that investments positively impacting women was one area in which they would like to explore for a new allocation. Their objective is was to invest in assets that take into consideration gender-based factors across the investment process to advance gender equality and better inform investment decisions.
